Timing depends on the property, the information available and the assessment workload. Your quotation will explain the expected process before you book.
If available, prepare property plans, information about wall and roof construction, glazing specifications, and details of water-heating, cooling, heating or renewable-energy systems. ClearEPC will confirm what is useful for your property.
Your quotation will clearly state whether the applicable BCA registration fee is included or shown separately, so you can see the full cost before proceeding.
Access is normally needed to the relevant internal and external areas so the dwelling’s geometry, construction, openings and building systems can be assessed. Any access requirements will be discussed when arranging the visit.
